Meet The Professional Women of McLean County Women’s Professional Advancement Scholarship and The Virginia Mosbacher Endowed Scholarship at the Illinois Prairie Foundation.

Scholarship applications are open on March 15 and close on June 15, 2024. Scholarships are awarded at PWMC’s annual Casino Night event each July. Awardees should plan on attending.

Applications are below. You may apply to one or both scholarships.

PWMC awards two or more scholarships each calendar year. Scholarship amounts vary year to year but average $500-$1000 per awardee.

The Professional Women of McLean County Women’s Professional Advancement Scholarship is fully funded through our annual fundraising activity Casino Night. This scholarship is awarded annually to women pursuing professional and/or career development (i.e. professional certification, licensing, Leadership McLean County, continuing education, etc) or formal education at a local college or university (i.e., Heartland Community College, Illinois State University, Illinois Wesleyan University).

The Virginia Mosbacher Endowed Scholarship at the Illinois Prairie Foundation may be presented annually to women who have met established criteria of community leadership, clarity, and focus on career objectives who are attending a 2-year degree or certificate program at Heartland Community College.
