Remembering Names

Do you struggle to remember the names of new people you’ve met? When meeting someone new we have a lot to take in all at once. Conversely, emerging research indicates memorization of any kind is becoming a lost art in the information age.

Remembering names has such great importance, professionally and personally. Studies show that hearing our name activates our brain, even when it’s spoken in a noisy, distraction-filled space. Did you know one of the simplest ways to make someone feel recognized or special is to both remember and speak their name?

Professional Women of McLean County is proud to welcome back, Steve Garland for his presentation: Remembering Names. Garland’s hands-on seminar will leave you with ready-to-use tools and proven strategies that will dramatically increase your ability to catch and remember names!
