SPEAKER: Originally from Pontiac, IL, Anne Taylor has taken her passion for helping across the globe, living and working in Brazil and Thailand before moving to McLean County in 2013. Anne worked at Marcfirst for over eight years, providing intentional and compassionate care to individuals with developmental disabilities and their families. Anne prioritizes the dignity and well-being of those around her, a trait she has brought to her current role as the Director of Stepping Stones at the YWCA. Anne is committed to supporting her team and the broader community, increasing awareness that violence affects us all and that everyone, regardless of gender, race, or sexual orientation, is deserving of a safe community to call home. Anne enjoys Muay Thai and gardening and lives in Bloomington with her husband and two children.
