Jim Karch has been the Director of Public Works for the City of Bloomington since 2008 and with the City since 2000. He’s a professional Engineer with a physics degree from Illinois State University, a Civil Engineering Degree from University of Illinois and a Masters of Public Administration from the University of Illinois-Springfield. 

Jim has been heavily involved with high school students in the last 10 years at Eastview Christian Church where he started a serving and leadership team that is a one-year program from young men and women to develop as servant leaders. Jim has a passion for leadership and developing people in every area of life.
