Empowerment: Acting in our community

1 in 4. We live in a frantic and hectic world. A world where, many times, we simply do not see what is not directly in front of us. But, reality is that ONE in FOUR women is likely to be sexual assaulted in her lifetime. If that doesn’t give you chills, we’re not sure what will.

Please plan to join Professional Women of McLean County as we examine this important and timely topic with Nikki Moravec, YWCA Stepping Stones, Community Educator.

Nikki will discuss sexual assault and the services of Stepping Stones, victim blaming and how WE can have an impact in supporting survivors of sexual assault.
